In nations like ours, it really isn't. It's massively overemphasised. Why? Because, like litter, food waste is a politically safe subject.
Almost all useful pre-consumer waste has already been mopped up by initiatives like FareShare. The rest is post-consumer - ie compost.

It’s much more than 4 hours - online and in person chats, re-watching match highlights, speculating on transfers, newsletters, etc etc, etc.
