I've been playing an embarrassing amount of Nine Kings, and I finally beat King of Spells on King IX difficulty, which I've been bashing my head against for a few days. Felt way more reliant on luck than other kings, but it was satisfying to finally go off.

My roommate loved this, and she forced me to watch it! It really stuck with me, especially the frantic first few episodes. (Kinda just wanted to watch Balsa and the kid run away from everything and live a happy life in the countryside, though).

I adapted the old Keep on the Borderlands as the basis for a Planescape campaign I was running, which involved a neighborhood in Sigil where formal conflict could only be resolved through cooking battles. The "borderlands" in this instance was the border between two neighborhoods.
