Dems need grit. Stop apologizing. The biggest ding on Democrats is the perception they won’t fight on behalf of their policies. Resigning would just reinforce that perception.

Not sure that including the rest of Longwell's post makes a difference. Asking for someone who won an election less than 24 hours ago to resign is a slap in the face of Virginia voters. They knew about Jones' statements, and voted for him anyway. It's like saying, "I know better than you voters."
