My first David Lynch film was Wild at Heart. I was in middle school and it hit me like a sledge hammer. Everything about it was frightening and shocking and irresistibly cool. I fell deeply in love with that movie and it has echoed through my life. I have been hooked on his work ever since.

His work taught me about art when I was still very very young. And his heart is woven deeply into my experience of the world. We didn’t get enough.

We did have a Solstice ritual that they were part of. I think they did enjoy it. I felt a bit awkward because I’m returning to the craft, so a bit rusty leading the ritual. But we did it! And I hope to do something for Imbolc.

The last time I practiced witchcraft I was in my 20s. Finding time for ritual was easy. A full moon Monday night was not a problem. Now, as a married adult with two kids, it’s harder. I lit a candle, gave an offering and incense, said thank you. It was brief. But it was all I had. #witchsky

Pulled The Devil out of my Tarot deck today and decided the message was to engage in shameless materialism and buy all the Christmas gifts in one fucking orgy of consumerist glee.

There’s a jukebox on Marketplace I’ve had my eye on ( need some place to “store” my 45 collection.) Either that or a $1000 vacation.

I can’t imagine what the media would say about how my gaming defines me. Lately I’m playing a bisexual Drow elf fighter with a brain parasite.
