just for the record, i'm 28 & never saw this movie before & i did not see the twist coming until minutes before 😭i got so wrapped up in the movie, i forgot what the director was known for lmao

i actually thought the hospital scene made sense at first, like if you think that a kid is being injured or had some kind of neurological issue it makes sense to talk to their therapist about it... which is why i was so surprised dr m night didnt ask malcom his opinions
