"People on food stamps shouldn't be able to buy soda."

Sir, your rich ass stops every morning at Starbucks before work and orders breakfast with coffee. I think it's ok if people on food stamps get soda or candy if they want some.

Repeat after me: People cannot thrive if their basic needs are not met.

Also addiction doesn't discriminate. Anyone can start a drug and become then addicted.

Unpopular opinion to some.

I'd rather see people who have a drug addiction be on food stamps and receive their basic needs met than be refused food stamps just because they have an addiction to drugs. Who is to say "Oh because you do drugs, you don't deserve food."

If you donate canned food to someone or a food bank/ pantry, please try and get canned foods that are easy to open. A lot of people do not have can food openers.

They're still disabled.

Disabled people can go on holidays, have social lives, hobbies, etc…

They’re still disabled.

Everyone deserves to eat, have housing and healthcare. Basic human necessities are not a privilege.

But another serious conversation is..

I never understood parents who made it a goal to get their children out of the house at 18.

If a fascist takes over your government then overthrow him, if a fascist invades your country then destroy him, if a fascist exists it is your duty to defeat him. There are no negotiations with fascists.
