It's been forgotten to history by FAR too many that the 1st Amendment is rooted in freedom FROM religion. That's why it's the "Establishment Clause" and not the "do whatever the f you want if it's in the name of Christian God Clause".

I think it's worth mention that both in the body of the Constitution and the original amendments its made clear that ours is to be a secular state. People forget Article 6 stating that while government employees will take an oath, there will be no oath or religious test as a qualification.

I'm looking forward to it.

Similarly, I was absolutely blown away by @michaelharriot.bsky.social 's "Black AF History - The Un-whitewashed Story of America" which gives a reasonably deep dive on several segments of history that were, well, whitewashed.

It's also funny that he admitted that people blame Republiphiles for the shutdown without realizing because he's stupid.
