~ and then I had a online meeting in French

The linguistic and cultural diversity of Canada’s largest city reminds me that my world view is not paramount

Back in my day the clapper loader had real responsibilities with real consequences if we made mistakes.
Kids today have no idea how hard it used to be.

Don’t get me started about “best” boys. “Worst” boys, if you ask me…

It’s 5 days after our record snowfall of 60cm / 2 feet and we’re now in our ugly and brown phase of winter

With the extreme cold of the last couple of days the St Lawrence River has started to freeze as it flows into the Atlantic. This is Fast Ice, meaning it’s fastened to the shore
