My Windows 10 PC (which has been fault-free for years) has started playing-up! It freezes and the HD light thrashes away forcing a hard reset.

It's October, the last month of Windows 10 support and Microsoft are pushing Windows 11.

Company laptop is refusing to go online, the VPN has crashed on an update and policy will not allow us to bypass it so a call to IS has been made.

They've asked if they can remote connect to the laptop to diagnose the problem...

Not deliberately. Did return two copies of Afterburner to Boots as it wouldn't load only to find out that it was my Spectrum tape deck that was knackered.

I tried to fix this A600. I solved the issue of the video output missing green but when it came to fixing the poor audio the machine died! A new CIA, Paula and some traces repaired later we are up and running.

Big shout out to amigaspirit.com and chums who undid my damage.

Is a GDEMU on the cards? I put a cheap clone in mine and it's fine (I have a second Dreamcast if I feel like using discs).

I did a composite mod on mine but bottled at replacing the power socket. It's on my (ever-growing) to do list.
