This comment is obtuse on so many levels 🤦🏻‍♀️

I literally said “It’s not for everyone.”

I simply advocated for ppl to do some reading (or even watch vids from edu creators like Chill Polyamory if you don’t like reading) to see if it might be.

The ETHICAL part of it is that everyone involved is enthusiastically participating, not pressured. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Either that or if you still really love each other, read up on polyamory. Not enough ppl understand the ethical loving relationships that are possible if you stop believing the religious brainwashing that monogamy is the only way to live. It’s not for everyone, but it’s def for a lot of asexual ppl!

My cat & I are now living in a loud motel where I have to keep the blinds shut for any privacy. Effectively a windowless box that’s not big enough for my wheelchair to maneuver & I have to crawl to the bathroom. 🆘

Yes to ALL of this - ppl say they want community & to “resist” yet put things like “I block Mutual Aid accounts” etc in their profiles & regularly use ableist language to “rile” the fascists. All done w/o irony / self-awareness that they’re perpetuating the same norms they’re supposedly “resisting.”

People want someone else to fix all the problems at once and / or to tell them what to do. But we need to help each other in any way we can, even if it seems insignificant! 🖖

You could help a vulnerable person who lives on the edge have housing or food through mutual aid online. I'm not that impressed by our society's capacity to really meet this moment. We have to be willing to shift the culture that abets fascism too. Even unlearning whiteness.

My cat is extra jumpy: every time someone walks by outside she growls. When people slam doors & talk right outside my room she jumps.

AirBnBs are NOT an option for most people who are homeless. They are way too overpriced, and this is the WORST suggestion you can give someone who needs shelter. I have even been asked this when trying to get my room covered. Do not ask people about AirBnB. Just don't.
