Hey so “underage girls” are…children. The word you’re looking for is children. They’re not like, women-in-waiting or women-lite or whatever. They’re children. I think some of you are very uncomfortable with what that means for you but it is still true.

If you have it please donate cash to the food banks. $10 in their hands will feed more people than the $10 worth of canned goods you can buy for retail prices. Also check on your elders. Many of them will not admit they rely on these programs so grocery gift cards or a surprise bag of staples

This is important because what they’re actually defending is the right to get a Nazi tattoo without consequences in public life. These people don’t know or care about the guy they’re defending.

The federal shutdown is now about to affect millions of people who use SNAP - the food stamp program - and those same people cannot afford their energy bills. To get every dollar in people's pockets to go to food, not utility corporations, we need an emergency ban on shutoffs.

Every passing day reveals that this is the fundamental crux of the shutdown: whether we will have a government or collapse into dictatorship

One reason the One Special Boy thinks he can just issue Executive Orders to do whatever he wants is because he keeps issuing Executive Orders & doing whatever he wants - in obvious violation of the law & Constitution - & no one who swore oaths to country & Constitution is doing anything about it.

The subtle implication that Trump v. U.S. has always been law and that a president's official acts weren't considered prosecutable when Smith started is disgustingly dishonest.

More history from this Nazi adulated by the Trump team. These are explicit, proud Nazis who scream and cry and call every referee they can find when you quote their Nazism back to them.

Weird thing where people say “no one could have predicted it” when really what they mean is their political commitments and orientation were such that they ignored everyone who was predicting it

Sorry but “no one could have“ and you having your head stuck up your ass are two different situations

There is a gulf in America. I submit it is the gulf between good and evil, or at least not-evil and evil.

The gulf is not just between people who oppose this and people who are indifferent to it or reluctantly accept it in support of immigration policy or see it as collateral damage.

The WHITE HOUSE
Section 1. Domestic Terrorism and Organized Political Violence. Heinous assassinations and other acts of political violence in the United States have dramatically increased in recent years. Even in the aftermath of the horrifying assassination of Charlie Kirk, some individuals who adhered to the alleged shooter's ideology embraced and cheered this evil murder while actively encouraging more political violence. This was preceded by the 2024 assassination of a senior healthcare executive and the 2022 assassination attempt against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Two separate assassination attempts against my own life in less than 3 months took place during the 2024 Presidential election cycle. Riots in Los Angeles and Portland reflect a more than 1,000 percent increase in attacks on U.S.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers since January 21, 2025, compared to the same period last year. Just yesterday, a shooting targeting an ICE facility in Dallas resulted in multiple casualties.
Separate anti-police and "criminal justice" riots have left many people dead and injured and inflicted over $2 billion in property damage nationwide.

As per usual: no mention of political violence against Democrats. The armed man near Kavanaugh’s house who turned himself in becomes an “assassination attempt” while the actual assassination of Melissa Hortman not mentioned. Attacks on ICE facilities are political violence but not attacks on CDC.

it's absolutely fucking crazy that "retroactively legalize Watergate" and "exclude Black people from literally every area of public life" are the two primary a objectives of the chief justice and yet he is never reported on like the vicious gutter racist he is.

Democracy, more than anything is a practice. I always think that the Civil Rights Movement succeeded because from the Civil War black Americans built institutions: universities, fraternities and sororities, churches, that engaged them in democratic practice.

If you're telling me that I have to find common ground with people who don't believe in my family's and my friends' and my neighbors' right to exist, it's a no. No debate for them. No meeting of the minds. Hands only.

i don't know how to phrase this because it should straight up not need to be said but the actual safety of people of color should matter more than the whipped up hysterical feelings of white people. (i am practicing saying obvious but important things.)

The diminishment of prominent Black journalists is the latest indication that a period of progress in America has ended and a period of retrenchment is in full bloom.

This is utterly ridiculous. Karen wrote multiple threads over the last few days condemning gun violence and political violence. She wrote one post about Kirk directly and that was only quoting him. She’s an opinion writer. She did her job.

there's a weird feedback loop where the media's reaction to kirk's death pushes you to speak more ill of the dead than you otherwise would because it's the only reasonable response to the simpering praise they're heaping on him
