Trying out Home Assistant and I am just very overwhelmed by how many parameters there are for each device and trying to make some kind of easy interface like the manufacturer's app. Not giving up, just wish it was easier (super good job from developers already though)

Why Netflix shows don't get watched, they cancel before finishing stories and there's no point in starting it as a viewer.

Season 4 was a sort of return to what people wanted, and 5 could have been great. I don't expect anyone to come back to it then, but when a show is "complete", there's a chance a renewed interest could pop up for new viewers to watch a complete series.

And a shame they weren't able to make the final season. Even if it wasn't performing as well as hoped, just finish it out. Maybe final season could have wrapped it all up in a way to bring some folks back.

I never half-ass anything. I may 3-quarters-ass it on occasion, most likely 4-fifths-ass it, but never half-ass.

I feel like the only version I had was a DVD that has a watermark for the production logo burnt in the screen by accident. Would love to find a better version. Gonna try out the Internet Archive version and see how it is.

Lol, I was gonna mention UVR, but it's Setup.exe is still sitting on my desktop and haven't gotten around to testing it after giving StemRoller a go. At least you're already in the same ballpark of ideas.

Wonder if you could pass it through something like StemRoller that strips voice from songs? Since center channel is mainly dialogue, could separate it, boost it by itself, and maybe layer it back in? Probably would have a bit of echo or phasing, but worth a shot?

Literally 2 days ago we watched a sketch with Handi-Man, a disabled superhero (Damon Wayans). It felt so inappropriate in today's age, but was kind of uplifting by the end in a way. Need my hi-res In Living Color blu rays please

It sucks that by the time it's on PC, the hype and want to play will probably have passed and the story will have been spoiled enough to not be as interested.

I'm always fascinated at discussions about Mandarin and Cantonese translations, like a behind the scenes for someone who doesn't speak the language. It's bad when a non speaker can tell a whole bunch of dialogue does not match a 3 word subtitle. Is it too much to ask for faithful translations?
