With the appeerance of an horrible shaped thing, sensibly perceiued of the people then and there assembled. Drawen into a plain method according to the written copye. by Abraham Fleming."
Brace yourselves. Itโs the 448th anniversary today of the documented and very real appearance of the Terrifying! Satanic! One-Eyed! ghost dog Black Shuck at two churches in Suffolk, where he wilfully murdered โtwo persons, as they were kneeling uppon their knees, and occupied in prayerโ

25.07.2025 10:22 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Zarla Verified Purchase Portrait of a Marriage Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 July 2025 A fascinating and highly readable book about the marriage of GMTV presenter Fiona Phillips and her husband Martin Frizzel, and how they coped after Fiona's diagnosis with early onset Alzheimer's Disease at the age of just 61. The disease has progressed very quickly since the diagnosis in 2022, when Fiona was still able to enjoy nights out and holidays in Italy. They travelled to their house in Italy in summer 2024, but Fiona didn't recognise it, felt very uncomfortable, and cried to go home, which they did after just three days. Martin's sections of the book are compelling. Even for a journalist, he writes well, and should consider writing novels or non fiction at some stage. I also think he could have an excellent second marriage with his friend Kate Garraway at some point in the future. He doesn't mention Kate or any other woman in this context of course and is firmly loyal to Fiona, as Kate was to Derek, but after Fiona has sadly passed away ! could see this match happening.
Incredible review of Fiona Phillips new book on living with Alzheimerโs, presumably written by Kate Garraway
