I definitely want him back in the short term. Nimmo’s deal makes it very, very tough long term. Hard to commit big dollars to three inflexible corner players that you have to use, two of whom are likely to be in heavy decline by 2028-30. Maybe we can find a taker for Nimmo.

They sort of have no choice but to find a deal with Edwin, almost the entire bullpen is hitting free agency and if they let him walk they cannot replace him.
