However they still use the art/images sent in the server to train their AI. To bypass this, people have found the AI’s ID so we can ban them. The AI has already been banned in this server, but for anyone here who has a server or is in another art/creative space, please use this advice and ban the following ID using the /ban command. 1153984868804468756 It may also be smart to start watermarking your pieces.

Data centers are LANDLORDS. They would rather have shit sit empty and unused (assuming they’ve made a big enough capital investment already) and eat bills at a negative ROI for a few months if they can rent the space out for 1.5-2x the price they’d get with old tech.

There was a 400k sf clean space (semiconductor) sitting empty (but running, and maintaining clean room requirements) for MONTHS because of a new tech/new tools being available. It was cheaper to pay the massive utility bills monthly than pay the effort of guaranteeing the space is clean again
