Sounds like he's just spouting bs. My kid was born Feb 2020 (& ended up in a NICU not close to us). Not once on the commute there/back for months did I ever even entertain the idea that I would need "papers" to travel. No one was locked in their houses you were allowed to travel to/from places.

Seems Trump might be trying an end-run in which Texas mobilizes its National Guard. That would be Texas invading Illinois, which as you can imagine is unconstitutional.

One wonders about potential remedies, such as IL seizing assets of TX corporations like X, xAI, and SpaceX.
