I am currently waiting for someone from Amazon chat to connect. (It’s been 5+ minutes now. Amazon Canada has no option to speak to a person on the phone and it is beyond frustrating.

Amazon Canada is baffling too. So many of my US-based friends are often told that there is no need to return something. I have never been told that when the wrong thing is delivered. I have to pack it up and trek to the post office to return it. Even if it’s worth a paltry sum of $9.

The ones you get wet? They didn’t work for me. I’ve tried the ones with little beads and the ones that are supposed to be cooling fabric. They’re great immediately after getting wet but the water quickly heats up and they’re awful & hot on your neck. I think a neck fan would be my choice next time.

I used to feel like that before every trip too. It’s so much work to plan and pack and organize and sort out food and things to occupy kids, and and and.

I’ve played Farkle my entire life (I’m 52!), but never knew it as Farkle until a couple of years ago. My family just called it “the dice game. You know, the one that goes to 8000.”

My kids love Anomia. I bought it on a whim about 5 years ago, never having heard of it before, and it was an instant hit.

My goal was 50 books so I am pleased with my efforts.

Yes, I use that one too. Also Cmd-cntl-shift-4 lets you draw a box but instead of creating a file, just puts it on the clipboard so you can paste it.

Yup. Each police force has their own. Most codes overlap but not all - and 10-97 is one with multiples. Hence my question. 🙂

On a Mac, it’s Command-Shift-5. I use it all the time, it does indeed make life so much easier.

10-97? Are you asking to “check my signal” or letting me know you’ve “arrived at the scene”? (Also - nicely done with the 10-code. It took a second of puzzlement before I figured it out!)

Agreed. And I also do not need 3-4 emails, or emails twice a day, to tell me about a sale. One email a week is more than enough.
