I agree with this statement but can we replace heat pump with insulation? People need to be reminded old tech works. Heat pumps generally work, but a lot of the other tech they are grabbing at is less ready (battery powered buses, lithium ion BESS for the grid, small modular reactors).

Battery powered buses are the *worst* way to power a bus. They emit 2x to 3x more microplastic, use 3 tons of non-recyclable batteries & they use diesel heaters while often being used to replace the far superior trolley buses that are really zero emission.
