Writing this calls to mind for me times when I've been part of the problem, too. When there are a lot of people running around harshly nitpicking each other it creates a really toxic environment that feeds itself. Life is so much better when everyone stops critiquing the trivial.

I've been lucky to have dodged this to this point with the new podcast, but I'm still recovering from years of Twitter brain- always being on the lookout for the ways the worst person you never met will pick a fight just to do something with their day.

Ending this operation is not enough.

We need justice and accountability. That starts with independent investigations into the murders of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, economic restitution for businesses impacted, abolishing ICE, and the impeachment of Kristi Noem.

Even if every agent boarded a plane out of Minnesota tomorrow, many of our neighbors & businesses will still have had huge impacts on a half-month of income in February beyond that of January & December. Many are still in detention needing legal support and resources.
