Newark is probably triple the size of the Burbank airport.

There is absolutely no fucking way Burbank Airport sees 6 million passengers a day. It’s a small regional airport that mostly serves the Bay Area and Vegas.

If every gate has one flight per hour from 7am-10pm, they might be seeing ~250 flights a day.

Burbank is tiny in terms of numbers of flights daily. It’s not a large international air hub.

Keep in mind Burbank airport has two tiny terminals and a fraction of the flights of a major urban airport. It’s much more like a small regional airport than it is like La Guardia to LAX’s JFK.

That said I live directly under the Burbank flight path, so I hope they’re small *enough*

I’m not saying the US and Russia are analogous. They’re not. Just pointing out that there are situations where few people on the left wanted to have a revolution, but the choices made by the right resulted in that regardless.

I think most people don’t want a revolution. That’s why what Trump is doing is so dangerous. At a certain point there’s no other choice.

The problem with what the right is doing is that such a thing might slip quickly out of everyone’s control. The Russian Revolution was supposed to be a peaceful transfer to a UK style parliament and constitutional monarchy until the Czar got too big for his britches.

It’s not so much that Trump’s 60s & 70s counterparts “cared about” South Vietnamese people. The US set up South Vietnam as a puppet state that would be an anti-communist bulwark in Southeast Asia. Nuking North Vietnam would make that project moot.
