I think the problem with most (especially Comedy Central) roasts is they just get together random comedians to say mean things about each other.

I don’t enjoy them as much either, but I think it can work if it’s people who are actually friends poking fun at each other in a way where everyone including the person being joked about laughs.

Spent some cat quality time this morning and went to the Saint Paul Art Crawl with my friend and one of her kids this afternoon! Now I’m getting ready for bed since tomorrow is back to work, which starts at 4AM for me.

I live in the Cities and hadn’t heard about it, so thank you for the heads up!

I’m sorry it’s not going well. One of my other friends quit their engineering job because of needing time off from the field and after 8 months of gig work, but finding no real job to pay the bills, she’s starting at a new job as an engineer this month.

Admit it, you don’t want that layer of skin anyways.

I laughed because this is funny and also because of recognizing myself. I am also wildly appreciative of the people in my life when I drink too much.

Thank you! My friend is always making fun of me for having “short shorts” and I can let her know how wrong she is.

Charlotte (who will be 10 in June) asked me the other day if I was alive in 1956. “I know you were alive in the 19’s!” 😆

Hey, I was checking the Phillies’ website because I haven’t been to a game there before and noticed they play the Seattle Mariners on August 18th, not the Marlins like it says on the link. It’s not a huge deal, but I initially worried that I read the date wrong when I bought a ticket.

As much as I love all these contenders, I have to go pigeon.
