Tariff update

At Cytoskeleton, one of our top priorities is to maintain a fair price on high quality products. Unfortunately, tariffs have been implemented on many countries and one of them impacts a very popular line from Switzerland. Currently, that country is subject to 39% tariff on products imported to the USA since August 7th 2025.

The main product line affected is Spirochrome's line of bioprobes for live cell work. Starting Monday 22nd September we will be adding a temporary tariff fee on all the Spirochrome items. Cytoskeleton is taking some of the tariff burden so we can reduce the customer tariff fee to 24% of list price which will be implemented for the duration of the tariff period.

Its an unfortunate situation which we hope will return to normal asap.

Sincerely,
Team at Cytoskeleton Inc.

I'm more worried about the impact on my farmer neighbors but science is also affected by Trump's tariff insane policies

Biochemical reconstitution of sister chromatid cohesion establishment during DNA replication Genome inheritance during cell divisions relies on replicated sister DNAs being connected by cohesin rings. Minamino et al. reconstitute sister chromatid cohesion establishment during DNA replication using purified budding yeast proteins. The experiments yield molecular insight into more than one way in which sister chromatid cohesion can be built.
