Just came across this. She uploaded a 6 minute video of that session. Pure awesomeness ❤️

Getting flashbacks of musicians checking how their carefully mastered songs sound on shitty phone speakers and earbuds before releasing them, because "that's how most people will actually listen to it" 😭
20.10.2025 17:59 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0It's wild how different the effects are on different people. For me methylphenidate (Concerta) has a _much_ faster onset, more mouth dryness, a lot less sweating and much more stable mood than Elvanse.
It was stable in the "all anxiety all the time" kind of way, though, which admittedly isn't great
I mean... the combined hyperfixations of music, games, programming, synths, the specific tactility of certain things... if that's not an autistic gravitational vortex I don't know what would be 😅
09.10.2025 09:31 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I absolutely love it. I could listen to hours of this, with her calmly narrating what she's doing. Feels like she's coordinating a docking sequence with the spaceship traffic control authority.
Oh, and she's around here!
@switchangel.bsky.social fantastic stuff!
This is the way I've ended up doing recorded presentations too.
I seem to be incapable of facing a blank page, and this works to fill the page with _something_ you can refine later.
Light version of this is talking to yourself in the shower.
Sounds like what a vampire would say... 🤔

Mastodon is spicier, but also more fun.
I open one or the other based on how much spice I want a given day

Lovely work!
It's funny how this thing has higher geometric detail than most AAA games 😅
Spaniards like myself that have had to do exactly this for weeks/months every single summer
13.08.2025 20:27 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I’m excited to announce the release of Spark 1.3 and the launch of spark.js, our new JavaScript API for real-time GPU texture compression on the web.

I'm so happy to share that the stairs update is liiiiiive. This is by far our biggest update that we've been cooking since *checks calendar* omg, since March x_x Huge thanks to everyone who helped us test it while in beta <3
Now lemme walk you through some of the new shinies 🧵
FIFA (now FC) has always been built in Vancouver. I'm sure there's quite a few Canadians in that team that would love to build this 😄
15.07.2025 20:01 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0A total mystery. We will never find out
06.07.2025 10:39 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0It's interesting seeing how layoffs happen often in the US, more rarely in Europe, and almost never in Japan.
It's, as if... regulation mattered, or something?
Loved it! Insta-subscribed. Thanks for sharing!
19.06.2025 15:46 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I've been enjoying Alex Ávila's videos lately. A well-spoken, leftist, latino trans man feels like an appropriate counterpoint: www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOhs...
19.06.2025 06:17 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0This. Science won't say what they want it to say, and that makes it dangerous for them.
And that's precisely why they keep talking about "AI alignment". They want to use AI as an authority they can control, one that will say whatever they need it to say
And if you're thinking "well, but you only did a few points", yes, exactly!
VdC also needs more "irrationality" as the point set grows :)
So, it seems you don't need it to be _that_ irrational :-P
Code: gist.github.com/jonvaldes/a0...
Tripped into the rabbit hole for a bit.
Got the golden point sets implementation from here... www.graphics.rwth-aachen.de/media/papers...
Then started chopping off the mantissa of the golden ratio, see where it'd start to break down. You can clear 46 bits and still have something reasonable
But golden ratio sequence is also using rational numbers as usually implemented, because it's just floating point numbers. So it's the same as VdC in the end?

08.06.2025 09:47 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Can you share links to those lost cat dbs? We ran into a clearly lost cat around Brommaplan a few months ago and we didn't know how to find its owner 🙁
I think after several people posted on Facebook the owner was found... but still
So I wouldn't judge Dark Ages based on Eternal... or by 2016, for that matter. It's... different
31.05.2025 16:25 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I love Eternal, but it is indeed a very different game from 2016, and I can see it not being for everyone.
Dark Ages is quite different, though. It doesn't allow quick swapping of weapons, ammo is not as limited and is easy to get back (literally just punch someone in the face).
That was... good.
Thanks for sharing
But, see, key word there is "injured". Car crashes involving 12 people are rarely just injuries, methinks!
