Have yet to be able to actually *read* anything from this.

This flash-drive distributed archive of Marvel Comics PDFs (licensed, don't worry!) that I'm supposed to review is already in the hole, as far as I'm concerned, since the DRM reader on the drive won't install, and I had to jump through other hoops that aren't in the documentation, such as it is.

Ah, geez, yeah...sometimes, if they're new enough to have websites stamped on there, I take a look and see if they're still around. Only like 10% of the time they are.

In a collection I was processing today, some of the books had price tags from the store I used to work at with my writing on them.

This is why I'm trying to make sure my girlfriend knows which items in my collection *are* actually pricey and shouldn't be dumped.

If it were all like that, it wouldn't bother me, but these prices are mostly reasonable. Like, someone was trying their best.

Going through a box of a dumped collection of comics, processing them for the bargain bins, and each bag has a little paper tag inside with the comic's assumed price, and this is making me a bit sad.

I forgot there was even a series. I found one on the Internet Archive, but sheesh, just down the memory hole with this series I guess.

The game items were the only carryovers, but I'm selling those on consignment and have discounted them for one last shot at moving them out.

My other, *other* project today was nuking most everything out of my eBay store and starting to relist some new things. (This is also helping me correct some confusing behind-the-scenes stuff that I did that made it harder on me to list items.)

Watched a video last night of the Moody Blues from about '72 and was trying to figure out how old they were in it...they all looked over 40, so I figured they were around 28. Just looked it up today...all in their late 20s/early 30s. ...The 1970s, man.

I wonder how many comics will start up NOW that I'll really be into, not finish for whatever reason, and then get revived 30 years down the line where I may or may not be around to pick them up from where they left off.

If memory serves, Veitch provided the synopses for the unpublished issues to the Comics Buyer's Guide, which revealed (slight hint) that they're an eventual payoff to Swampy having met Jesus. It ain't just for shock value!

I went through that whole Swamp Thing meets Jesus controversy in real time as a reader...I've been waiting for DECADES for this to come out in some form. It'll be nice to finally have, and for Veitch's story to be completed the way he wanted it.

This is a horrible way to start the business day. At 6:36am this morning 4 or 5 guys (wearing masks) in a blue and white car busted into Alternate Reality Comics (photo of the car from House of Cars’ camera should be coming to me later today). $500 in theft items.
