Salmon-flavored Sassycat, available in pet stores and on Amazon. Not trying to shill for them especially (nothing in it for me), just noting that it works for us!

(4/5) But I finally found the solution in this miracle potion below. Basically dried salmon and tapioca. But all it takes is one dash, and they’re eating like horses! (And when I say “one dash”, I mean that this bottle will probably last us a year.)

Anyway, no ill effects and everyone is eating….

“Bullshit!” cried both of our cats, who turned their noses up at it and picked at it very sporadically.

(2/5) Hana, OTOH, has turned her nose up on dozens of treats. The only thing she will go for is one specific flavor of Sheba pate, and even that, only about half the time (I think the recipe varies considerably by the batch).

Anyway, this has been her main staple food, and it no longer exists…

She’s pretty much always been this way since we got her at ~4 months. Our other cat, Tinsel, will eat any treat put in front of him…

Valis III on the PC Engine CD was the first Japanese game with voice acting I ever experienced. This was before I’d even taken the language in high school, so I didn’t understand a word of it, but the performances were captivating.

Are there any photos out there of any of the pucks he actually signed? All of them have his signature stamped on them, so I’m not sure what differentiates the ones signed by hand, at least by looking at them online.

Based on the number of loose pucks I’ve seen on eBay over the years, it was quite common at one point for sure. Boxes and packaging are a rare breed these days, especially ones in good shape. I managed to get mine before prices got too crazy.

Amongst others, Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell did a lot of really phenomenal covers for the Western versions of games. Tom duBois also did some really great covers for Konami: I kind of prefer his work on Castlevania IV to the Japanese box art.
