I don't think Trump will be able to fake the data given the procedures. But there is now a risk plus an awful appearance.

A guess: it’s more for companies and organizations. Consider, if one wants to ask Delta about a delayed flight or complain to KFC about an undead chicken, one wants to know that it isn’t an imitation account. Similarly, one only wants to receive info from verified orgs and companies only.
