I like the ladder at (1,1).

I also like the curved staircase at (0,4) but if you go with a spiral staircase, consider rotating the character sprite as they descend/ascend.

Im a big fan of the old school puzzle games like Myst, and Riven! But they can be super esoteric and frustratingly difficult. As for puzzles with story, I love LucasArts point and clicks. They’re very cozy!
I’d also recommend Lorelei if you liked blue prince but want more of a challenge!
