Nice. Iβm just glad to see that there exists youth who like old mystery novels and dressing like distinguished gentlemen.

09.11.2025 16:31 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I donβt have a big enough face palm to respond to that.
07.11.2025 16:20 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0How absolutely deranged. A whole conspiracy revolving around the idea that gothic and neoclassical architecture is too complex and couldnβt possibly have been built by modern humans.
Itβs like the idea that aliens built the pyramids, but on a whole nother level of stupid.
I actually just bought a poppy pin today. Mine always fall off of my coat, but this pin has a proper backing, so maybe I wonβt lose it this time!
With the way the world is now, Remembering the world wars is more important than ever.
I would say that Victor Frankenstein himself was somewhat mad, bad, and dangerous to know.
Loved the movie. Couldβve used more bromance, but it was great seeing some stuff from the book on the big screen.
I havenβt even seen Hamilton, but the music is dang good. I understand itβs pure fiction with historical set dressing. Not unlike my proposed sitcom about Donatello, Michelangelo, Leonardo and Raphael sharing an apartment in Italy. Itβs just a fun and silly idea.
02.11.2025 18:27 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I used to wear a lot of chartreuse, but I honestly donβt look good in it. I stick more to reds and purples now. I also donβt look good in pure white. It brings out all the yellow in my skin.
29.10.2025 20:57 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I like Charizard as much as the next person. It was my very first PokΓ©mon when I played Firered and I still have her! That said, the starters donβt demand any reverence to them. Theyβre just nostalgic little guys.
I quickly went with Squirtle in ZA because I needed a water type.
From what Iβve read, early 20th century Halloween celebrations were largely focused on vandalism; just a bunch of youths destroying public and private property. Iβm glad weβve shifted away from that and itβs more about candy and costumes than destruction.
No clue about the orgies though.
Bit of a disappointment, as some Yakuza game type of drama wouldβve served a nice contrast to my game about running around Paris buying clothes and sitting fancy cafes.
Iβd have loved if the game was actually like a Yakuza game. PokΓ©mon: Like a Dragonite.
However, games with a narrative focus are certainly served by having a level of grit to them. Iβm currently playing PokΓ©mon Legends and was excited to see Yakuza. I was hoping for some exciting crime drama, but no. The leader of the yakuza wants to help the city out of the kindness of his heart.
27.10.2025 15:38 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Yup. Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a cozy game devoid of conflict, but it also came out at a time when a pandemic was shutting down the world and forcing everyone to stay inside. Itβs a game that got a lot of people through a lot of hard times.
27.10.2025 15:33 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Just got home from seeing Frankenstein, and boy, what a film. As a fan of the book, I loved it. They definitely made some big changes, but they served the story.
It was great to see some scenes from the novel really come to life. So glad I could catch it in theatre.
βHe can have a little bit of Ukraine, as a treat.β
Not surprising behaviour in the slightest, but still disgusting.
I was referring to Guzma. Lusamine is the true villain of the story.
22.10.2025 23:31 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Agreed, but I think ScarVio is pretty on par with it. The supporting cast in both games are well done. OG SuMoβs story was refreshingly nuanced. It had a complicated family and a βvillainβ who was more misunderstood than anything.
22.10.2025 20:29 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0At this point Iβm expecting a boss fight at the top of Lumiose tower.
20.10.2025 22:23 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I was just joking when I said ZA is PokΓ©mon: Like a Dragonite, but I just got to the part where youβre wrangled into working for the Yakuza andβ¦ yup.
20.10.2025 22:22 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0All of the kids who fell in love with the first generation are now approaching middle age. It makes sense to have some games more targeted to them.
Whatβs funny is that other Nintendofare such as Mario or even Kirby doesnβt have as much of a βgame for babiesβ stigma.
Yeah, I guess I just think of βkids gamesβ as being for 5-9 year olds. ZA is more in the teen+ category.
18.10.2025 15:10 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This is true, but is this really that much of a kids game? Iβm a grown adult and I need my husband to help me with the rogue Megas. If anything, itβs still targeted to an older audience than the mainline games and stuff like Letβs Go. I wish the writing reflected that as well.
18.10.2025 04:59 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0I am here for PokΓ©mon: Like a Dragonite.
17.10.2025 23:20 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβm still a bit disappointed it doesnβt take place in the same era as Arceus. I wanted Victorian era Paris! Floofy dresses! People complaining about that βugly new towerβ, catacombs!
16.10.2025 01:41 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Fashion is the primary reason Iβm picking up the game tomorrow, even though I might have to get my husband to do boss fights for me. Iβm not good at dodge rolling. Thereβs a reason I usually stick to turn based games.
16.10.2025 00:08 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I hope this teacher strike doesnβt last as long as anticipated. The system is broken and classes are too big. But I just realized that things will be even more broken next year, because thatβs when all the babies conceived during Covid lockdowns will be entering Kindergarten. Fix it UCP!
16.10.2025 00:04 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0But good lord, the amount of direct comparisons Iβve been able to make to Nazi Germany in 2025 is ridiculous. βOh, they got rid of a bunch of people in the middle of the night? How very Night of the Long Knives of themβ¦β
15.10.2025 23:54 β π 8 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I have accepted the phrase because in this day and age, there will always be people who think youβre being very literal. So no, Stephen Miller isnβt literally Goebbels, he just rhymes with Goebbels. βItβs like poetry.β
15.10.2025 23:52 β π 10 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Nominative determinism at work!
