Listen I think everyone should obviously form their own opinion based on the facts of the story and how he has handled it since. Absolutely not! Corbyn’s Labour was happening at the same time that I “got in to” politics so I don’t claim to understand the nuance of Labour as it was then. All I can say is that in the absence of a proper leftist Labour, its important to rally behind the Greens, especially at this point in time

Interesting, to be honest I’ve not had much experience sharing stuff, do you mean files from cloud storage etc? I’ve shared 1 password before and I think it was a pretty easy experience. I’ve not used their cloud storage at all so could be that’s where the problems are!

Proton has a great suite of stuff, I’ve not made a full switch away from google/apple but I use their email, password manager, VPN, and occasionally the other stuff like calendar and drive. Can recommend!

Have you come across any games that don’t have this issue? I loved Satisfactory pretty much until the exact moment I completed the second phase and it just fizzled out once I saw the rest of the objectives.

My tin foil hat take is that I’m convinced they fluctuate the volume from barely audible all the way up to ear piercing to encourage you to hang up

Honestly with the volume of files I imagine you work with it makes a lot of sense to do it that way! I’ve always wondered how ‘proper’ version control works for games but that seems like a whole ‘nother rabbit hole.

Oh believe me I became an expert in this at university! Sometimes it lives on in commit messages (‘fixed some stuff’ vs ‘actually fixed some stuff this time’)

I know Anton uses Unity and unless there’s an equivalent to this I’d love to know how it’s worked so far!

As someone who has only ever been exposed to SVN and git, and never had to manage a project any other way, can I ask how you stored your code/assets before? Has it always just been one instance of the project that’s changed over time and been built/released at different points in its life?
