Reminds me of a family trip to Boston with my then-5-yr-old - we bought her a Spongebob-themed ice cream, goodness knows what was in it but she proceeded to become insanely, almost dangerously hyperactive for about 45 minutes, then fully crashed out. It was amusing and horrifying in equal measure.

Both of mine have packed lunches, but then they also eat like someone cares about them.
