Good work @rickedwards1.bsky.social
For me, Liverpool weren’t THAT much better than Arsenal last season. It was Arsenal’s tendency to drop points against lesser teams that ultimately did for them. Another year on, the best defence & with proper strength in depth, I maintain it’s their title this year. Too much change at Liverpool.

Chased and harried really well, brought others in to the game and basically conveyed a strength and a swagger that’s been missing up top. Got his goal too. Right place, right time. Good knack for a forward. Let’s hope it continues!

Lammens - solid.
Amad and Bryan direct.
Lovely taken goal from Mount.
Sesko’s hold up play decent and deserved his goal.
Bruno’s effort on to the bar would have been special.
All their threat down Dalot’s side.

Call me a pessimist but the way the United script goes is Lammens throws one in today 😂.
In all seriousness though, good luck to the lad and good to see Amorim’s supposedly seen what we’ve been seeing.
Come on reds! Put 5 past em today!
And he’ll be the first to come out and tell us ‘it’s not good enough’ or ‘the mood around the club is great’ or ‘the mood at the club was toxic’ seemingly blissfully unaware that he’s a part of it!
Just another example of terrible past management decisions that have hamstrung us so much of late.
I think this largely sums up where I’m currently at with it all. Ignoring the fact that it is still ridiculously early in the season - Top 6-tipped Villa & Newcastle currently below us in the table - I really feel we just have to give him the season. If the football isn’t better by May, then change.

Surely the money on offer isn’t that essential?
I’ve not got it in me to argue with anyone that wants Ruben out now. It’s very hard to say with conviction they’re wrong.
For me? The idea of yet another change, depresses me. I don’t think there’s a man alive that could fix United in 12 months. The coach can’t always be the problem.
Give it a rest, Simon. The world doesn’t need yet another 1000 words on how crap we’ve been.
Surely you’re better than Man United play Brentford this weekend. Brentford beat Man United 4-0 once. Man United bad.

It’s so unnecessary though as scoring virtually doesn’t matter. Just get it in the hole in fewer shots than your opponent. Both teams on a level playing field. Why make it so ‘meh’?

Part of the show featured the Yes/No interval. Contestants were asked questions for 60s and they had to answer without saying yes or no.
The career of Chris Mason is similar. He can't write an article without mentioning Farage or Reform.
I’m actually quite enjoying it. Was finding the churn of Sunday/Thursday Sunday/Thursday pretty unfulfilling. The fact we lost pretty much every league game we played near the back end of last season didn’t help, but yeah, feel kinda revitalised when THE game (singular) eventually rolls around now.

24.09.2025 12:09 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0This kind of indulgence from Ferrari is exactly why many out there see Farage as ‘one of the good guys’. Surface level scrutiny, a quick, clipped social media post that they’ll see. He’s smiling, he’s charismatic, he’s this, he’s that…

Pep & City, with arguably the world’s best keeper, a freak of a goalscorer, & the current Balon d’Or holder getting off lightly last season & this.
