Itβs always a matter of will not resources.

15.02.2026 21:37 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yeah the pacing is immaculate. When there is a quiet moment, it's either building to an action sequence or an effortless kind of worldbuilding where all the characters are interesting or fun to watch (or both).

14.02.2026 22:53 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Why did we order from Pizza Batman when there's insanely good food literally everywhere? We were all hungover and sick from said good ass food, we wanted something unadventurous.
14.02.2026 03:33 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Once when I was in India, we ordered pizza from a place called "Pizza Batman" and it was the worst pizza I have ever had in my life. It was like one of those flavorless Lunchables but large with the most awful "crust" I've ever had.

Hadn't heard of a new game coming, but I hope it's true.

Sorry about your 10% loss in my social credit book, Tie.
ID verification beyond the presence of a credit card is comparatively new. There's no infrastructure around it.
If you get your identity stolen, you gotta go to the cops. That sucks! It's not protecting money, so banks don't care. It's a gov't responsibility. But they aren't helping (are they?).
There's a standard set by payment processing, a sensitive process that made its way onto the internet.
Payment processors get compromised too, but there's industry security standards (PCI) around those technologies that limit the damage.
There's banks and credit bureaus (ugh) protecting you too.
There's other privacy concerns too.
Ideal age verification is almost anonymous. Say "Alice" requires age verification, contracts "Bob" to provide it. Bob works with me directly and then gives a yes/no answer to Alice.
Bob should store as little as possible and prevent human access. That's hard.
I'm not aware of any age-verification technology that has a proven security track record yet. The porn sites are opting out of markets where those laws have been passed, which implies to me that maybe there isn't one yet.
I avoid all non-government (and even then...) online ID verification.
Guess I'm gonna be in "no swears" mode in @discord.com starting next month lmao. Nice try, idiots.

I finally figured out why my macro shots were blurry. The mechanical shutter on this camera is so large and in charge that it's creating motion in the camera that affects the image. Switched to electronic shutter and they're all sharp now. Wild.
