Buck probably slides more into the grey area due to his playing history but Dan has always struck me as a reasonably reliable narrator. Doesn’t take away from the game - and it’s not like he’d be skulking if the Mariners also hit a big home run

I get it to some degree as I’m also a Canucks fan who hates the Leafs coverage but I’m of the opinion that enjoying an exciting moment isn’t really a bias or disqualifying. They’re not reporters bound by the same journalistic ethics; they’re commentators & that’s inherently tied to personal opinions

But again, AI *can* make these things. I just don't think it's actually worthwhile to make.

I didn't mean to dismiss it - I agree mastering is important. But I think in this case, the automation allows the artist themselves to control things as opposed to outsourcing it to a third party production expert. It's a bit of a grey area but not one I'll argue against.

Personally, I'm willing to look past the periphery of little bits of music mastering as that's more or less just levels and balancing. It's not the core of the music. But I think each person/artist will set their own bar on that.
