The rich landowners showed-off by spending money on importing exotic waterfowl like flamingos, pelicans, swans and geese. This is more of the same. Spend the money on habitat or the birds that are still struggling here.

Next they'll be saying that we shouldn't go out into nature as that is in fact a greater disturbance. Pishing, in my mind, is a curiosity trigger rather than a stress inducer. They use completely different response sounds and activity in comparison to a mobbing tape.

Agreed. The rewetting of bogs in Ireland is a prime example whereby Common Cranes now breed there. Spending money on restoration of habitat is a lot better way to spend money and helps a lot more species.

I'm a multi-county reviewer, there is a standard email that is sent out on asking for more detail but I let everyone know that they can contact me at any time with questions.
If one is to give out about reviewers can you mention those rare bird reports that have "seen in a tree" as the descriptor.
