Iron Warriors' Landraider finished for #HobbyStreak say 271! Pretty pleased with the final result on this thing.
Not entirely sure on the next project, bit probably a bit smaller

Progress for #HobbyStreak day 270: Got the initial layer on the base and details done, attached and final washed the Landraider, and started blending the tracks into the mud and applying some additional goopy weathering

A large circular base covered in wet brown paint. Some metallic "barbed" wire crosses horizontally, squashed under two tank tread marks that cross it

Added some ubiquitous skulls, adjusted and shaped the "barbed wire", sprayed, and started painting the big flat disc for #HobbyStreak day 269
In fairness to me, that's a load of textured paint I'll be leaving to dry over night... Then we'll see what shape it is and adjust from there

Applied the decals to the Landraider for #HobbyStreak day 268 and then became so irked by the idea of handling it while applying washes again that I started building a base for it

Worked the iron back up, painted the doors, attached the tracks, and started detailing. The tracks need properly painting and the doors need blending in a bit, but not bad for #HobbyStreak day 266

Started painting the 'raider for #HobbyStreak day 265, just working through the various stages of undergrime before bringing the iron back up. It's been a while since I painted a vehicle and I'd forgotten how annoying it is not having a base

Landraider ready for its without to be ironed... I'll spray it tomorrow. I think I'm going with just the doors getting stripes and I'll add the tracks after spraying so I don't have to entirely repaint them

It grows! I realised that I haven't built a Landraider since the original plastic version with the fragile lascannon mounts that this is based on, which is a bit weird. It's much easier than I remember though!
Also, yes, I'm gluing the doors shut 😝

Ugh, the compound curve on the shoulder pads is the worst! Well done though, those stripes look good!

Finished up the Oblit... Saturnine Terminators for #HobbyStreak day 261! Added a bit of detail to their huge bases and decided I really like the barren, no-man's-land look so painted the rims and went back to do the same for the squad. Also realised I'd not given two of them bayonets, so fixed that

Building and painting these chonks... I want to male a Space Hulk set based on 50mm bases! They really make sense as things that have to work to turn around
