I am so insanely thankful that his love of sci fi and his love for me mean that 4 times a week this Christmas, I get to run around as veSIwIq, that I get to giggle as I put on my prosthetics, that I get to tell this story

I wouldn't love sci fi if it weren't for my dad, I wouldn't be able to laugh at all of the jokes in the show if it weren't for his love of every show that took place on a spaceship, I wouldn't be giggling at getting Star Trekkin' by the Firm stuck in my castmates head if it weren't for him

Opened our show tonight, and feeling SO many feelings (mainly exhausted 😂). So fucking thankful I get to do something I love, so goddamn proud of my fellow performers for all of their hard work, and grief like a knife through my ribs that I didn't get to share this show in particular with my dad
