I think the Rankin/Bass version of The Hobbit is likely going to be the best adaptation of Tolkien's novel that we're ever going to get. Its art design runs the gamut from rustic to creepy to lovely, and its assortment of songs lend it a fairy tale quality that really fits the story.

Have you ever been to the town it's based on? It's actually a lot of fun to be there and they have lots of events you can participate in. One notable one is going to a reading of the original story by candlelight in a church maintained from that era in the center of town.

So much of WELCOME TO DERRY is really fun and creepy but that mutant baby design is a big yawn. Grey CGI Slob Thing just doesn't cut it. One of the great and disconcerting things about It is that it takes uncanny, even disarming, forms.

Hahaha I say this to myself quite often. I think I've only "finished" it on my PS4 and PC (Prepare to Die edition, no less!) even though I have multiple Switch save files.

That's bogus. I have only played the 2 a little bit but have so much still to do on my Switch that I can't imagine picking it up for a while (Not Bloodborne is obviously tempting!).
