In a landmark vote, the UN adopted a resolution condemning these abductions and demanding that the children be returned to Ukraine.

Putin once again stated that Russia does not intend to attack Europe.

Before launching a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, he said the same thing.
Added that if Europe were to start a war, a situation could quickly arise in which Russia would have no one to negotiate with.

The Trump admin has been quietly pressuring Europe to not seize the Russian billions for Ukraine. He fully intends to give it back to Russia and likely will find a way to profit himself.
