The Mad Men Rollout on HBO Max Might Make Fans Vomit Thanks to a screwup in the file transfers, the show’s 4K release is riddled with errors.

UPDATE: This actually wasn't HBO Max's fault.

Source tells me incorrect files were delivered to HBO Max. Lionsgate is working on getting them the right files now and those corrected files will be posted as soon as possible.

The original ep was widescreen and the hose guy is gone, so it’s not a 4x3 vs 16x9 issue. Its a VFX shot that didn’t get cut into the 4K version. m.youtube.com/watch?v=qvRH...

Trying to guess how this happened…back when we shot TV on film we would have to deliver negative cut lists even though we didn’t finish on film. So maybe this episode didn’t have the final VFX in that list? And no one checked their work after they rescanned the neg for 4K?
