good photo, I arrived before the Emergency Services, but too many people walking around looking shocked for me to take a photo. Once I was kicked out of Waitrose, I couldn't get a clear view.

There is a monthly OpenStreetMap meetup/social for people interested, next one will be Tuesday 20th. I think most of us also attend Critical Mass rides, quite regularly

It looks to me the current work has finished, the JCB and cabins have left the site. However it looks like this route is "permanently" closed. They have put a sign in at each side of the clousure pointing to take the steps by the station:

Cheers - will be interesting to see how "convenient cycle routes" is interpreted by the developers.

The path at the North end of the Edinburgh Arena Construction site is now fenced off, doesn't seem like the contractors have made any effort to signpost this. Diversion up the steep offroad steps up to the Station or right via South Gyle Crescent seem to the options. #edtravcyc

#EdTravCyc I discovered yeaterday, that the really useful route between Port Hamilton and Morrison Street is closed.

The route shown on the map below is effectivly closed.

I've done that! Maybe you subconsciously needed the longer travel time.

I had planned a normal speed GoPro shot from the front as well - but failed to start it! What's great about the 360 Camera is that the shot can be choosen afterwards!
