There's going to be a decent chunk of text in my game, so it was important to get it loading from external files sooner rather than later, whether or not I end up localising it for release. Seeing the strings change does help check it's all working as expected.

I do this a lot. I keep meaning to see if there's a better camera app for this than the default one, since most phones do weird shit to your pictures even when you turn off all the "enhancement" options.

I really should dust off that really expensive Lumix camera that I've not touched in years.

There really is a huge "WHY ARE YOU NOT MAX!?" phase to start with. Took a while to get over it. Once I accepted that you have to approach things differently I found that I like a lot of things about the workflow, e.g. the sequenced keyboard shortcuts remove a lot of messing in dialogue boxes.
