I bring this up because tonight, I am starting up #Persona3Reload, and despite my....sacrilegious feeling towards FES, I am genuinely rooting for this version to win me over. Will Tartarus still be really boring? Will I still only care for the dog, the robot and the IT girl? I'm hoping for the best.

So, uh, hahaha, I might have a teensy tiny confession to make.
Y'know how I'm a big fan of #Persona? Especially Persona 4?
Well. Despite that, I *may*, have certain...negative opinions about Persona 3. Opinions like "nothing it tries works"....

I think the thing that really decides the quality of an open world or sandbox to me is if the basic act of just getting around is fun. Maybe it's really artsy like Tsushima, or chaotic fun like Saints Row, or part of the basic mechanics like Spider-Man or Mirror's Edge.

This was a pleasant suprise! At first it seemed like a pretty typical "realistic" dark fantasy, y'know the type, very cynical and immature. But there's more to this one than first appears. Visualizing the music is a great idea for a music based story.

I know trophies sometimes are there to encourage different playstyles, but there's something funny to me how Silent Hill 2 Remake's trophies are about deliberate, completionist play... expert for the two that encourage you to sprint around skipping cutscenes and murdering everything with a chainsaw.

Out of curiosity, how forgiving are you when it comes to translation issues in games?
I got so used to professional translations from Japanese these past decades that the much less developed ones for all the new Chinese and Korean stuff has caught me off guard. Always feel like I'm too harsh.

Overall this worked out really well. Lots of kids and parents excited for cards and comics and food and candy. My tops of the night were the boy dressed as Wednesday Adams who told me this was the greatest house hes ever been to and the girl who signed thank you as she grabbed her Pokémon and Comics
