She was! It was the Radcliffe and Maconie show a couple of weeks before Christmas. Some of the bands who played at the school have been great and happy to be interviewed about the whole thing.

The daughter of a friend's friend is making a film about the bands that played at Minsthorpe High School in the late 80s/early 90s – the likes of the Weddoes, Cud, House of Love etc.

They're trying to track down the teachers who put the bands on – Mel and Trev. Anyone know them?

I live only a couple of miles away and visited Wollaton many times but wasnt even aware of this beauty. Took a run up to see it with my daughter and will ve paying many return visits!

This is not just funny, it's smart. We need more of this mockery that shows these thugs that we see their despicable fascism and give them the respect that they deserve.

Hard to say as such a lot I'd want to see, and avoid clashes. Underworld headlining the mountain stage should be amazing, but lots of other stuff, WH Lung, Kelly Lee Owens, Nilufa Yanya, English Teacher, Melin Melyn (always a laugh) to name a few...

I've been most years since 2005 and this may be the best line-up yet!!! Cannot wait!!! Thanks GM.
