Hey there! You haven't missed anything except some annoying BTS frustration. We locked in Sept because I was trying to get them out before I moved, but a box of rulebooks never showed up. Now everything else is sitting on my floor while we wait for a new set of books to come in at my new address.

Due to a YouTube rabbit hole I have just discovered that the Relict title font is the same as the one used for Blair Witch 2

Due to a combination of technical gremlins and limited rural resources, I have been internetless for most of the past several weeks, save for my weak cell reception.

But last night I ran a Relict game for my home group via conference call and it was baller.

But one thing I've nailed down is extrapolating a world where pervasive AI is evolved from people who were unskilled or desperate enough to train them against their own interests. They're everywhere and the fact that they do the dumbest thing semirelated to their core task is a fact of life. Sci-fi!

I've been quietly tinkering with a sci-fi expansion for Relict and an accompanying setting, DEBT MERC.

It's very early days, mostly still in writing and mechanics.

-near a major roadway or landmark = not lost
-close enough to above for there to be signs = not lost, may meander to find The Thing
-I've gotten into local roads = sorta lost, backtrack
-even the locals don't drive here = 💀

Yeah there's a reason I simply cannot be f*cked with RPG reddit in general

I could provide a statblock template and I'd schedule a stream or two for me to talk through the ruleset for folks unfamiliar with it - but honestly if you make monsters for 5e or PF2e...you're largely there, I could just use more than one brain.

Throwing this out there:
Relict needs monsters. I'm working on a book about it. But I'm also a one-man team.
If I was to host a Relict monster-making game jam with, say, some rulebooks as prizes -- would folks be interested in that?
