Less than 30% of votes giving extreme party power sounds better?
We'll agree to disagree. ๐

Agree with that. I'm guessing he's winning them memberships. I have seen interviews with Mothin Ali. But not the other one
25.11.2025 17:53 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Labour could seek cross party co-operation for PR. Just involves talking and working it out. Alternative is Oswald Mosley with keys to number 10. Then absolute chaos for 5 years.
25.11.2025 17:50 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0There is some truth to that. To begin with he also said similar.
25.11.2025 17:42 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0he's more than podcasts. I have watched him interviewed. He's good. Do I agree about everything? Of course I dont. EU, not trusting US, taxing rich for example. I am on board.
I like Ed as well.
Labour can save country from fascists by just bringing in PR. But it's party B4 country in my opinion.
Polanski is smart. The guy cares. He isn't shouty. Doesn't interrupt. Even when it's Reform frothing at the mouth about all immigrants attack women.
You don't have to agree with everything he says. Dismissing the man because he speaks about home truths about Labours current path,to me isnt fair.
Exactly. I have said similar elsewhere. Cameron catapulted Farridge into relevance by giving the referendum.
10's of millions of people given binary question on subject they knew little about. And the self interest of media and politicians exploited it with their lies.
Agree. Common sense. Its ok to be critic on some things.
Starmer is a good man I think. He just hasn't got that Blair factor. Blair was brilliant debater in his prime. Starmer is like a robot. And has the knack of being disliked on both sides. He doesn't help himself.
Exactly. The wrong politicians with influence was around for referendum. Corbyn was awful for example. Osborne and Cameron repeated same rubbish to scare people, which had opposite effect. Also austerity played a part, and government could hardly say it was their fault not EU. So stayed silent.
23.11.2025 15:49 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Starmer should be working with other parties to bring in PR now. To save the country from a extreme government voted in by a minority of country. Country and people before party.
23.11.2025 15:45 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0His strength is he's an excellent orator. There is literally nobody like him. The mask slips sometimes, when a journo actually does their job when interviewing him. Ordinary people see him as, "He tells you how it is. Unlike other politicians."
He's more teflon than Boris as well.
Labour come storming into power. Straight away announcing end to cruel 2 child cap that Tory austerity brought in. Shuts up Corbyn's cult, & RW. Instead, here we are. Reluctantly bringing it in due to outside forces.
Lets test you aren't radicalised.....Say something negative about Starmer/Labour?
As for migration. Ask yourself,if Reform wasnt ahead in polls & winning councils. Would Labour have brought in Mahmood, with her mimicking Reform tropes? Why even bother doing it? It impresses no Reform voters.
Just to be clear. I will vote Labour in 2029. Only because Reform are basically fascists
Reform are always sketchy on the detail. But they did say they will scrap this. Obviously to entice voters.
Had Labour done this from the outset of being voted in, they would have shut up the far left, and the RW who pretend to care. Instead, the appearance is they was forced into it reluctantly.
Farridge has been normalised. Hes basically saying what Nick Griffin was saying 15 years ago. But back then, all parties put him in his place. Every step of Farridge's sordid career since 2015, he has been virtually endorsed by the media and mainstream parties.
23.11.2025 14:39 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0You are solid Labour through and through. Farridge's control over this country at this moment is scary. If I was Starmer, I would do the right thing and talk to other parties about proportional representation now for next GE. Its the only way to stop Reform in 2029. Unless they implode b4 then
23.11.2025 14:03 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 3 ๐ 0You are preaching to the choir. I'll add public sector pay rises. Will Starmer be remembered for these you mention in 2029? Nope.
Tony Blair did even more. What is he remembered for?
Exactly. After the result, police figures show racist attacks and abuse spiked.
Cameron effectively catapulted Farridge to relevance,by giving the referendum. Instead of doing the moral thing of challenging his type of hateful rhetoric.
I'm not saying Labour are Reform.
Cameron gave country binary question on EU membership. Because of Farridge. Later Tories followed Farridge rhetoric on Immigration. Labour are doing & saying things now that,as short of a time as 5 years ago would be unthinkable. Farridge must be laughing at us all
Why is the policy being brought in? All sensible people know immigration is not a huge problem in the grand scheme of things. Its being amplified and weaponised by wealthy people to divide us.
23.11.2025 13:02 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Just think if Labour had come in, and scrapped 2 child cap? Instant win. But no. He waits until Reform/Tories announce they will scrap it. Immigration, amplified by Reform by crazy levels. Now endorsed by Labour. When Yaxley-Lennon high fives the policy, you know its a dark path being followed.
23.11.2025 12:55 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Brexit happened because of a divided country, and people being susceptible to bias media and self serving politicians. The hatred for Starmer on both sides is way over the top. But he doesn't help himself. He follows the Tory path of being influenced by Reform.
23.11.2025 12:52 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 4 ๐ 0......its vicious circles. acknowledging each others views is much more productive.
Get a subscription to Byline Times. Read some thing that you may find uncomfortable to read. But its worthwhile reading.
And when these people see what you have put here. They see the obsession that we should settle. Otherwise we "see a far right government". I used to be blindly onboard with this. But its ok to be demanding Labour be Labour. Starmer was never popular. I see that. Labour won because of hate for Tories
23.11.2025 12:37 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 3 ๐ 0These should never be given offside. Spending 4 mins to decide is mad. After a minute, you should be just giving to attacking side. Poor defending cost us.
23.11.2025 12:09 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Labour are reacting to what Reform say in regards to 2 child cap. They gain nothing in polls from bringing this in,because of stance during GE and after. Just like they are reacting to Reform on immigration. These changes by Labour are influenced by Reform. Labour just needs to focus on being Labour
23.11.2025 11:45 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 3 ๐ 0I have no issue with this goal given. It was ridiculous how long it took to decide if offside or not. IN Rugby League it takes seconds to decide this. If you need to spend minutes deciding, just give it to attacking side.
23.11.2025 11:28 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0From outsider, looking in. Its even more crazy that there aren't already safeguards in place to detect this now.
23.11.2025 08:32 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Ake is unlucky not to play. He's Mr Reliable.
Remember when he kept prime Salah quiet at Anfield. Stellar performance.
