This cannot be something a civilian law enforcement agent is allowed to wear in the US โ and an agency that has a culture that tolerates this cannot be saved.

I'm at the Willard Hotel where I've been denied entry and kicked out of the Reclaiming Science event with NIH director Bhattacharya & other top agency leaders.
@jocelynkaiser.bsky.social and I registered for the event months ago yet were told capacity was full, even as they let in dozens of others.

The @washingtonpost.com, OTOH...not so much.
"Ilhan Omar should not have to fear for her safety to espouse her views, even if they are extreme." Less extreme (albeit in the other direction) than those of this Administration, the feet of whose boss the Post's owner is busy licking.

In addition to not using journal articles, FDA commish and division heads need to disclose their meetings with podcasters, promoters and booking agents.
Transcripts of the commissioner's interviews should be posted on the FDA website.

To Holly, et al. one thought about the plausible mechanisms path is that it seems a better fit for gene therapies (or combo cell-gene therapies) than for just cell therapies, but it applies to just cell therapies too, right?

Great piece. It resonates with mine on CGT "flexibilities" from last week www.statnews.com/2026/01/20/f... The FDA is kind of doing its new science policy by press release on these related fronts.
