What a nasty piece of work - and I say that as a compliment. John Lithgow should be remembered year end with supporting actor love for his work here. The story of a demented man who lives to torture the old and deteriorating. Psychological horror done right. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Can movie trailers please stop showing the entire movie? I’m looking at you #DROP. I legit don’t need to go now after seeing that

I will stand behind my statement. There is nothing shown onscreen in red rooms that is violent. You will see more disturbing scenes on CSI on primetime as well as stories and cases that are just as intense. If you’re into horror, true or genre cinema you’ll be fine. And do go in blind.

If you have a dry eye by the time Miley Cyrus’ new song plays - you haven’t lived life.

Shot in 16 days on a minuscule budget and ending up my favorite film of the year. Wow. Just wow.

The supporting cast is also phenomenal. Jamie Lee Curtis turns in the best work of her career. Dave Bautista as well. Billie Lourde, Kiernan Shipka and Brenda Strong all masterful.

It opens wide this weekend and it begs to be seen on the big screen.

This is her Norma Desmond - as Shelly and her art form and passion are left behind in the dust. What to do when your persona is shattered? It’s truly heartbreaking.

#PamelaAnderson is IT! I’m hoping this opens never ending doors for her career as an actor. Wow. Shelly is a fully layered character and watching her reveal the layers over the course of the film was a masterclass.

The performance given by Pamela Anderson as Shelly is hands down the best of the year. The last 20 minutes nearly wrecked me.

From Baywatch to Broadway and now to Golden Globe and SAG nominations. If shes left off the Oscar nominations there is no shame and I riot.

A story that anyone can connect to whether you’re an artist trying to find your way through life, a parent who finds themselves trying to apologize to your adult children, a child who is lost, a hustler trying to make it through, or a person who has never been given your true moment in the sun.

For me - #theLastShowgirl is the film of the year. Director Gia Coppola has turned in a cinematic masterpiece shot on beautiful 35mm. I was so thrilled to see it last night followed by a Q&A with Pam and Jamie.

My fav film of the year

As the year is close to ending I keep catching up on movies I have missed. Thanks to @vinsyn.bsky.social and OCN I was able to finally see #RedRooms. This is hands down my favorite film of the year. I haven’t stopped thinking about it since I saw it 4 days ago. Genre fans rejoice. Go in blind!!!

Underrated film Sunday watch. Jessica Lange, Michelle Pfieffer, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Jason Robards, Colin Firth, Keith’s Carradine, Michelle Williams, Jonn Carrol Lynch, Pat Hingle and Elizabeth Moss in an updated King Lear. It’s great and so worth a rewatch (or 1st watch). Great kino release
