This episode aired on Tuesday and it really shook me. Not only the story of Cians life but the generosity of a community to do something so life changing left me in awe. The build and fundraising are ongoing but he is very close to having his home complete.

Exactly this. Steen started her campaign about 2 weeks before the deadline. She didn't really want to get on the ballot, she just wanted to be able to complain and say, "look how they are trying to silence us". She's a right wing/religious lobbyist and has never bothered her arse doing anything else

I would have loved if Steen had been a candidate. For the only reason that her bs would have been layed out for all to see. There is no appetite in general for her politics and there hasn't been for a long time.

@irishtimes.com please change the headline of this article. The person that crashed was driving an electric motor bike. The smallest version of this brand can reach 45kph and bigger versions go over 90kph. They are not "e-bikes".

I am on holiday in Sicily for 2 weeks. Primarily staying in Catania. If ever there was a city ruled by cars then this is the place. It is really sad because you look around and think how amazing it would be if it was more accessible for active travel.

Not even a bianchi or anything fancy like that. I've done the Ring of Kerry cycle a couple of times (170km) and you will be passed by several people 60 plus on a butchers bike wearing slacks and work boots

This just shows how people can't see anything beyond cars. This TD should be actively trying to help his constituency by improving public transport rather trying to harm them by allowing unqualified people drive 2 tonne machines to college

Enjoy life as much as you can. If you hate your job, get out of it as soon as possible and work towards a job that fits you. Don't spend 40 years doing something you hate. Try new things whenever possible. If you don't like it move on and try something else. Never stop learning and improving
