I can not get my head around how anyone growing up in the South Wales Valleys descended from generations of miners could ever choose a career as a Tory politician.

Not only is a former leader of a London council Reform’s Wales leader.
But it turns out he has not in fact moved to Wales, instead has bought and lives in a mansion near Bath! Therefore not able to stand for the Senedd elections in May.
This is beyond a joke! Reform are not a serious political party

Trans Greens' and LGBTIQA+ Greens have voted to indefinitely suspend their use of X/Twitter. Some of our reasons include: Cross-posting content from our other social media accounts is inhibited by language policing unique to X/Twitter's version of "free speech", for example being flagged by the site for using words such as "cis" (a scientific term to refer to people who aren't trans). Algorithmic biases, which encourage us to be needlessly controversial to be seen, and which disproportionately benefit right-wing narratives, which results in an experience that is hostile to the mental health of our volunteers and can result in burnout for those involved. Deeply problematic changes to Grok: many news agencies have reported that people are using Grok to sexually harass women and girls by undressing them using AI. xAI paywalling features to generate deepfakes instead of removing the ability to create them is not an acceptable response to sexual abuse. There is a concern that any media of our members (especially committee members) will be used to harass them.
