I’m incredibly pessimistic. I’m certain midterms will be rigged or tampered, and if they aren’t, the current R congress will refuse to seat new D electeds. Either way, chaos will ensue and it’ll be used as pretext for MAGA to further entrench themselves in power.

We will never have reconciliation hearings in this country. Said hearings would have to take place under Democratic rule (which may never again happen in our lifetimes). And if said Democrats were ever to lose power, a new Republican admin would hold similar hearings for Dems. It’d never end.

Greg I think low approval ratings don’t resonate with voters because Trump showed similarly poor numbers in his first term and he got reelected anyway and his administration is governing as though they’re above accountability.
